This is a true vintage 1960s Mattel Barbie made in Japan. I got this from a Barbie collector. She has the twist and turn (TNT) style waist which rotates at an angle, instead of straight across like modern Barbies. She has holes in her feet which were made for the early stands for number ones. She has rooted eyelashes. Her marking is on her behind and says 1966 Made in Japan. Her swimsuit has a tag that says Barbie Mattel. She has blonde hair that looks good for her age. This was a display item, not played with. However, due to age it does have some marks and discoloration on the limbs. These are the original clothes and hair ribbon that came factory with the doll.
