Beautiful vintage Barbie ponytail #4 with original stand, booklet, swimsuit, glasses and shoes. PLUS safe pearl earrings and vintage nurse outfit. Her face paint is original and very pretty… She still has all of her fingernail polish and most of her toenail polish. Foot marked Japan and right cheek marked “Barbie Pats Pend MCMLVIII by Mattel” and has the correct factory mold mark on the upper right thigh. Solid body and the “Barbie TM” shows that this is an early #4 doll because they changed to “Barbie R” for the later #4 dolls. She is all correct and has original hair style with only the rubber bands replaced with cotton. She has the correct original booklet and a correct stand… I do not know if it is the original stand, but I do know that some of the #4 dolls came with this stand and some came with the pedestal type stand. The only issues I can find are that her legs look the slightest bit darker from mid thigh to mid calf to me… And she does have a very faint greenish tinge in front of her ears… I photographed in direct sunlight to make it as visible as possible. It also looks like a little cleaning might be needed in the area of her bum and where her legs attach. Arms and legs move easily but are tight and she holds her position perfectly. Swimsuit is not stretched out and clothing is all fresh and clean looking and smelling. Her original sunglasses look a tiny bit bent on one earpiece… Not broken, but not exactly the same angle to both earpieces. I was leery about opening and closing them too much because I know that they do break easily, but I did open and close them a few times to make sure that they were intact.
