Vintage American Girl Color Magic Barbie Body only – Japan – Near Mint. This is a VHTF Vintage American Girl and Color Magic Barbie Body only. It was made in Japan and it’s in near mint condition. This body was used for Mattel’s Vintage American Girl and Color Magic Dolls in the 1960’s. There is a crease on the top of the left foot but it appears it may have been caused from shoes that were left on too long but there’s no discoloration from whatever the cause. The original fingernail polish is beautiful and the toenails are bare just as they should be as well. All limbs are tight and hold position although the left leg is a bit wobbly at the lower part of the hip where the leg is attached, a very common issue for this body. That said, it’s not nearly as bad as the many others I’ve seen. It will look awesome on that head just waiting for completion, and will be a wonderful addition to your vintage Barbie collection.
