I have photographed the dress with the “Barbie” tag pulled out and exposed so you can see it is an original Barbie dress. This Barbie is marked, 1958, US Patented, US Pat. Made in Japan on her butt (see photo). She is very clean with just a little bit of darkening at the top of her feet (see photo). In addition she has a tiny spot of damage on the top of her lips (see closeup photo). I can’t imagine what happened there. She also could use a little bit of hair styling as storage of her has made some of her hair unruly (see all photos). Otherwise, she is in Very Good Vintage Condition.
