Here’s Barbie’s good friend from across the pond, Redhead TNT Stacey from the Mod Era. She is quite lovely, and has a bit of a Mona Lisa smile. This Stacey is in Excellent to Near Mint condition; she has lots of shiny hair, nice skin tone, original make-up, and an unfaded Near Mint body and her original red one piece swimsuit! She has very few signs of age, but she is probably not for the Mint collector. Though she is pictured in Flower Wower, that dress is not included in this sale. Stacey will come in her original red swimsuit. The other 2 dolls pictured in the “body shot” pics are available in other auctions. Stacey has nice pink coloring, pretty much all over. Her make-up is all original and intact; she has some enhanced blush with water based acrylic. That is removable with soap and water if you don’t like it. She doesn’t have earring holes or green staining. She does have 1 very faint tap mark 1/8 below her ear on her left side, but no paling there. Her lashes are all there on her left eye; on her right eye there is one thin plug, and some of the lashes are bent a little, or pushed in a bit. She has lots of shiny hair that could use a little restyling. Her forehead’s spit curl is a little messed up with some of her longer hair. Some of her hair in front could be parted better. She still has her little curls in front of her ears, but they were swept into her ponytail hair for years of storage. I tried to get them to straighten out so you could see them, but they keep curling back into her long hair. Someone who’s good with hair could probably fix that. Stacey’s body is marked 1966 Japan on her right butt cheek. Her body is Near Mint with nice pink unfaded arms and tight joints. She has a few poke marks beneath her left ankle on the outside and inside of her leg; shoes would cover these up. There is one poke mark at her right ankle, and one stray poke mark 3/4 above her right ankle. Stacey’s original red swimsuit has a couple spots on the right side of the cut-out on the front, and a tiny snag near the top button. Some of the stitching around the back cut-out is coming undone.
