LIP COLOR IS A ORANGEY LIP COLOR. HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL –PULLED INTO 2 MID BACK PIG-TAILS AND PARTED IN THE MIDDLE -SHE HAS REPLACED BEADS ON HER PIGTAILS, (FROM DOLLY DELIGHT)-SHE HAS ALL PLUGS-AND NO HAIR CUT. MIB Vintage 1970's BARBIE'S The Sun Set MALIBU P. J. Doll #1187 TNT
This is a Mint In Box Malibu PJ doll from the Barbie family of dolls produced by MATTEL in 1970. This was part of the Sun Set doll collection and featured a tan which had never been seen on Barbie dolls before and was all the rage in the early 70’s. She is a TNT (Twist and Turn) doll and comes complete with her swimsuit, towel still in it’s plastic cover, sunglasses and hair done in pigtails with beads. She still has her original PJ wristband and she is still attached to her box with a plastic armband in the back, and the plastic cellophane is still on her head. No greening to be found. The box is in great shape for it’s age but does have some staining on it and some minimal wear on the edges. The punch hole used for hanging has never been punched out of the box. There is also a black marker spot on the back of the box near the punch hole at the top corner. The plastic covering for the doll is still intact on the box but it does have a crack in the upper left corner. A great addition for a collector! All of my items are from a smoke free environment. Some of the pictures have a faded look this doll has really dark hair, so keep in mind the darker pictures are more true to the real coloring she has. Vintage Sekiguchi Printemps 18 doll made in Japan. Doll is in beautiful condition. Clean no foul odors. Hair is nice and soft. She seems to be missing her hat. No Box or tags. Brunette hair with dark blue/green eyes-very unusual eyes they look black until they catch the light. Vinyl Head, hands and feet. This is the 18 Petit Printemps. Clothing is marked Sakai and Co. Rare Japanese “Printemps” doll by Sekiguchi. She has brunette hair with braids framing her face. She’s dressed in her original grey cotton dress, with blue velvet detail, white petticoat , pantaloons, original black felt hat and black vinyl shoes. Printemps dolls were produced from 1976 to 1977. There is some light fading to parts of her dress that can be seen upon close inspection and also some yellowing to the cuffs collar and dress hem. Also some marks to her body under the clothes and to one hand shown in pictures. No damage to her boots or face. COMES FROM A SMOKE FREE HOME. Check out my other items.
