VINTAGE BARBIE ORIGINAL 1960S? This all original beautiful pale blonde ponytail Barbie #4 (she looks very close to a #3 but I’ll say #4 to be on the safe side because she is not quite that pale). She comes with her original swimsuit, black heels, sunglasses, early catalog, and stand. Blonde barbie has a lovely ponytail with beautiful curls still on the ends. She has her original top knot (looks like new rubber band has been replaced as it is not dry and cracked) – her make up looks gorgeous, and looks un-retouched and all original. She is not shiny at all and rather has a more matt appearance. She has a heavy solid body – solid neck, not split. No loose limbs, evenly toned throughout.. She smells of a very slight crayon like odor -lightly marked Barbie and TMs on the right side of her bottom, Japan is lightly marked on the bottom of her right foot. She is not wearing her original earrings and there are very small green spots on each ear (one a little more than the other) at the earring holes where she used to have them. Safe pearl earrings now cover the small green spots and make them very less noticeable – i see only one earring hole per ear. She has no nose nip. She may possibly have light scratches, loose hairs and or marks from age and or play wear that is hard to see in person (please see all pictures). There are some pale blue marks on the back of one of her legs probably from storage. She may have some white powdery residue that I’ve read is common with #3 and #4 ponytail barbies- she is very pretty and pale – the nail polish and toenail polish is very nice, all original – her arms and legs are firm and hold she holds poses nicely – She comes with her original black and white striped swim suit and pair of original black spikes, her pair of vintage original white cat eye sun glasses an early catalog and stand. The stand has some damage on its top surface from from heat? And needs it needs to be reglued to hold the wire in place in the hole.. She was very precariously posed when I shot these pictures. This Barbie is even more beautiful in person. Had some questions posed here is my response…. I took some day light shots near a window…. Her hair is not really a strawberry blonde not as yellow as it may appear in photos. She Does have flocking. I can not easily remove the blue stain and did not go to any drastic measure s to try to remove it. The marking on her bottom is faint other than the word Barbie… The rest of the markings are raised but so faint I cannot make them out can very faintly see C Patent Pending Mattel inc.
