#3 ponytail as #2 (looks like a #1 no holes in feet) BARBIE vintage

Here is a number three Barbie repainted as a number one face. She is just amazing. Here body and head are very even in color, and not as sallow as the photos. Her hair is long, without cuts. There are no missing hair plugs. She has no green and no neck splits. Neck nob is good with no repairs. The out fit is good, but for two flaws: the loop on the necklace clasp has been replaced. The tulle on the skirt is brittle with age and falling apart. The glitter is still pretty good. She is from my personal collection. This is not a a re-root! Dark brunette 1958 Barbie. 1958 in roman numerals. One rear cheek is also stamped “B 49″. One foot stamped Japan, the other foot “8”. Straight legs that move at hip but are a little stiff and arms move well. Please see other condition notes above. Flesh colored spots on body. Vintage 1959 Mattel Barbie #2 Blonde Doll Auburn Japan Feet Original 59

The one and only Vintage #2 Barbie Doll from Mattel. This doll is in very good condition. She doesn’t appear to have been restored. Face paint and color look original- no retouches. She has the authentic butt stamp across her rear. Her hair still has some of the tight curls on the forehead but the back it braided. Appears to be original auburn blondish hair color. She has the solid body. She isn’t a #1 as she doesn’t have the bottoms of her feet made for the prong stand. Her coloring is good considering the age. She can use a bit more clean up but her limbs are solid and her hands aren’t chewed. Her face color is good and her eyes are really nice and very minimal wear on the “eyelashes”. The paint on her nails looks original. The outfit is either a Bild Lilli or a handmade piece that’s well made and period authentic. It’s a little gray poodle shirt and a white unitard underneath. There is a little moth hole on the white unitard. She comes with all you see in the pictures. There are no other accessories. This is a real piece of history and hope you win this iconic beauty. Vtg 1966/71 Barbie Doll Japan Mattel Blonde Hole Feet Twist and Turn Nail Polish

Up for sale is a 1971 Blonde Hair Barbie Doll Head with a 1966 Made in Japan twist and turn body in excellent condition for age. In Researching authenticity, I believe she is between a #1 and #2. The uniqueness of this Turn and Twist Barbie are as follows: Her face is gorgeous and she has straight Blonde Hair which does not look to have been altered. She measures 11.5 inches. Right Buttock is engraved c1966/ Matel Inc/ US patented /US Patent Pending/ Made in Japan. Both feet have holes for stand and one foot is marked Japan. Both hands have Red Nail Polish. She has full closed lips. Her body is in great shape with beautiful unmarked arms, torso. On the right tibia there is a small surface”nic”. There are small light faded marks on the inside of both ankles most likely from her original shoes. She comes from a non-smoking home. Thank you for looking.
