Vintage Ooak #4 Rerooted Raven Black Haired Ponytail Barbie

This stunning VINTAGE OOAK #4 REROOTED RAVEN BLACK HAIRED PONYTAIL BARBIE WITH SOLID RUBBER BODY has been modified to enhance her beauty. The earlier #4 Barbies were marked with a TM and the later #4 Barbie’s were marked with an ®. I do know which marking she has as it has been rubbed off. Her body is made of rubber and not plastic as was standard beginning with #5 Barbies. Her makeup and nails have been retouched or repainted utilizing acrylic paint. Her hair has been rerooted, hard curled, styled and lightly sprayed to hold the curls. She has no chew marks, no nose nips, no head splits. Her arms/legs move as intended. She has some scrapes, scratches, staining & dents on her body as expected for a 60-year-old doll. She has a small amount of green around her earring holes and has not been treated for green ear. However her earrings hide it well. She has few black dots on her body and a couple of Nick’s on her left anterior lower leg. There are also some marks on her feet which I’m not sure if they are factory defects or they were made with rough child play. Her zebra swimsuit is of unknown age and may have fraying, runs, tears, fading, stains, torn seams, and torn hems. I did some repairs to the zebra swimsuit. Her pumps are new and have been modified by me to resemble the original mule shoes that came with her outfit. Stand is not included. I have been repairing & restoring Barbies for over 25 years & spend many hours on each Barbie. I do my best to describe all flaws & repairs but may have missed something so please examine the pictures closely and ask questions as my vision is not as good as it used to be. Vintage 1960’s #4 Blonde Ponytail Barbie Doll Mattel Repaint Partial Reroot OOAK

The doll was originally TLC/poor condition and she was restored. She was painted using professional acrylic paint and sealer. Her one eyelid was rebuilt. She has some scratches on her neck which is making the head sit not as tight as usual but it will hold all positions. See photos of under the neck. She has some pin pricks on the one side. Her hair was missing plugs and had some thinning areas so she was partially rerooted. Most of her flocking is gone with only some spots around the outside remaining. Original blonde was used however, her hair must’ve oxidized over the years so the original blonde used wasn’t as orange so it looks like she has highlights. She had two parts on her root holes where it was split. I managed to fix them, except the one side is noticeable after I styled her hair. Her earrings are clone as well as her dress. The bow was added as well. She is on a solid #4 body. It has some marks on it and the legs have yellowed some. There’s marker on the butt and two spots on the side of her arm. VINTAGE OOAK 1960s #4 BRUNETTE PONYTAIL BARBIE WITH HAND CRAFTED SUMMER OUTFIT

This stunning VINTAGE OOAK 1960s #4 BRUNETTE PONYTAIL BARBIE #850 WITH HANDMADE OUTFIT has been cleaned & restored. Her body is made of rubber and not plastic as was standard beginning with #5 Barbies. Her eyes and eyeliner appear original. Her lipstick, blush, eyeshadow, eyebrows and eyelashes have been retouched or repainted. I used artist soft pastels for her blush and eyeshadow and acrylic paint for the remainder of her makeup. Her nails have been retouched. Her bangs are original and approximately 2/3 of her hair has been re-rooted, then styled and hard curled. Her hair has some broken ends and flyaways. She has no pin holes, no green ear, no chew marks, no nose nips, no head splits. Her arms/legs move as intended. She may have a few superficial scrapes /scratches, light staining & superficial dents on her body as expected for a 60-year-old doll. Her ensemble was handcrafted by me and includes the following. White sleeveless cotton dress with red cherry print, red ruffles in front. The bodice is lined with white Tully and the back is secured with snaps. Red cotton belt with red satin rose secured with one snap. Red 3/4 sleeve cuffed cotton bolero jacket lined with matching dress fabric. One pair of white nylon gloves. Red and white single strand necklace with silver hook closure, matching earrings and two bracelets. Red plastic shoes with a white flower on top of each shoe. Cotton hat with matching dress fabric topped with a red ruffle, red and white satin flowers and a red satin bow. Faux leather red purse with white flower and beaded shoulder strap. Purse does not open. She has a tiny nick on her right upper lip and some black dots on her body. Her head arms and legs are a bit darker than her torso. I have been repairing & restoring Barbies for over 20 years & spend many hours on each Barbie. I do my best to describe all flaws & repairs but may have missed something so please examine the pictures closely and ask questions as my vision is not as good as it used to be. Ponytail Barbie Doll Brunette Hair in Bun With Beautiful OOAK Flowered Dress

Beautiful Vintage Brunette Late Model Ponytail Barbie. She has Midge Barbie on the tush/Japan on the foot. Her hair has been put into a bun. The hair is braided and has some pink beads in it for decoration. Her face paint is nice but the Barbie’s left eyebrow looks a little short. May have been rubbed away. The lips have a lighter pink in the crease. Her nail polish looks complete or near complete. I didn’t look under a microscope to see if it is complete. Toes are nice too. I would say 80% complete. No neck splits, green ear, nose nips. On the one left ear she does have two earring holes. One in the right place and one behind the ear. The right ear is normal. There are a few scratches on the body but nothing awful. Limbs are tight and hold position. Kaiser stand is included. Dress and shoes are included. Our inventory is always changing. Rare Antique Vtg 1930’s INDIANA USA WPA PROJECT JAPANESE Japan Doll Lot OOAK

From a very nice collection of WPA dolls, be sure to check out my other listings if you’re interested. Up for sale is a pair of beautiful WPA dolls. These dolls were made in Indiana and were probably in a museum or school at some point. Dolls are approximately 14 tall and are in excellent condition. The woman doll does have a little wear to the forehead, but overall she is in great condition for the age. These were stored in a handmade box with a glass front, the boxes alone weigh 14 pounds. The main picture doesn’t show the glass because I couldn’t get a good picture with it there, but it’s in great shape, slides in and out of the box. These were part of the WPA (Works Progress Administration) project that commissioned women to produce dolls between the years of 1935 to 1942 as part of a federal program during the Great Depression. Some were made as children’s toys, mostly cloth and filled with cotton. Other dolls were produced as visual aids for schools and museums, like the dolls in this listing. They have composition heads and cloth bodies. These truly are works of art, the clothes alone are amazing in the quality and attention to detail. Please feel free to request more pictures.
