Very Rare New Never Removed from box FACTORY SEALED Twist’N Turn Barbie. Twist’N Turn Waist. This is the Twist’N Turn Barbie Doll many collectors refer to as the TNT Flip Barbie. She has the “Marlo” Flip hairstyle. The Marlo TNT Flip Barbie was issued from 1969 to 1971 with different swimsuits. Her hair color is available in various shades. Your new doll’s hair is a beautiful Brunette that really shines in the light. She has long shoulder-length hair in a flip style with right sidepart and spit curl. Her hair is wrapped in plastic from the factory. Her eyes are big blue with centered eyesight. She has real black extra long eyelashes. Her brow color is a lighter brown than her hair. Her lips are pink. The nose is often faded to white, but not your new doll’s. Your Barbie Doll’s face has not lightened as is typical of the vinyl used for the 1971 centered-eyed dolls, but is even in coloring and not splotchy. Her face is a shade darker tan color where her neck and shoulders are a more pinkish lighter skin tone. She has bendable legs and a Twist’N Turn waist. Both the finger and toe nails are painted pink, a shade lighter than her lips. The toenail paint is often missing in played-with dolls. But of course hers are in perfect unplayed with New Condition. She is dressed in a one-piece multi-colored swimsuit with circles and stripes. She has a purple and silver foil wrist-tag that says Genuine Barbie by Mattel. She has a clear Posin’ Stand that the box says turns into a seat just turn it over. The box graphics depict Barbie in different outfits and purple and red flowers. The copywrite on the box states 1969, made and printed in Japan. Your new Doll has Never been Removed From Box. She is Factory Sealed with intact cello, there are 3 small slits in cello 2 on the bottom left hand corner near edge of box and one that is really small to the left of her chest near the left side of box. There are a few rub marks on cello – where her hand and leg touch the cellophane on the inside unfortunately where her leg has rubbed left a pretty long mark from the top of the sticker up to her thigh. Please see photos as I have done everything I can to accurately show the marks and splits in the Cellophane. This is Truly a great example of this hard-to-find doll. See photos for details.
