Super Cute Vintage Francie from 1965 #1170 with HTF Original #1270 Groovy Get-Up outfit from 1967 that is incomplete (missing jacket and one hose). Comes from Original Owner and Includes. 1965 #1130 Bend Leg Francie with Blonde Hair. Pretty face with full eyelashes. Original makeup with no green or odors (lip needs a touch-up). Her body has pin pricks and a gash in her right leg, and missing a toe (please see all photos). Both legs bend 2x. Arms and legs are a little loose, but hold position. Hair is flipped and full. 1961 Blonde Bubble Cut in Box Accessories Highly Collectible. All original, no touch ups or repaints! This is a highly collectible doll due to her nice original condition, very nice unique box and super rare wrist tag. The box is very nice and she has the pink/gold wrist tag that is very rare and used for only a short time. She seems to be a manufacture anomaly because she has the soft pony left arm with the rare wrist tag. She looks like a no play doll. Due to age there is some faint discoloration around her ears from her original earrings. I have included a pair of plastic safe earrings that I can insert upon buyers request. I have not seen a box this nice in person, although it is not perfect, it has no split corners or tears. There are very tiny dents and a few scuffs here and there but nothing very noticeable. The box has no end label but i can see a square of where the price tag was. This leads me to believe it was a pony box used for the earliest bubbles. The wrist tag looks red due to age however it was originally a hot pink and gold color. Her face paint is amazing and she is on the Barbie only R body which retains 99% of paint on nails and feet. She comes with her box, replacement liner, excellent black wire stand, sunglasses, original and repro earrings, booklets, swimsuit and mint shoes. She has a nice tight bubble with no plugs missing. Her pony arms has some odd shapes in the rubber from factory and it feels very flexible. Her body is very nice, no chews stains, etc. Has areole circles on breasts. DOLL MODEL / MOLD NUMBER: Number 1 / #1 850 DOLL MARKINGS: There are markings on right bum cheek reads: Barbie TM Pats Pending c MCMLVIII On the other cheek reads “82” (See photos) ANTIQUE, VINTAGE OR MODERN: Original Vintage. She is in all original. She does not have any repainting on her face or body. Her clothing & shoes with holes are all original. Her hair is nice condition and is thick but needs to be restyled in the ponytail. She has no missing hair plugs. She does NOT have green ears, any neck splits or nose nips. However, she does have some dirt or something on her face. I was afraid to wash it off I did not want to do damage to her face paint. I will let new owner clean her. She is missing her original hoop earrings. She has a wonderful head. Her Body: Her body is where she has the most issues. Her arms & legs are excellent. Her feet & fingers both have original polish & NO chew marks or missing fingers. Her only problem is: The knob on the neck that holds the head on the body broke off. It looks as though the previous owner tried to fix it by inserting a nail in the neck of the doll which caused the neck to split. I would imagine it could be removed & repaired with milliput or some other material. Or perhaps you could use her body for parts. She has the holes in the bottom of her feet. There is only 1 metal cylinder in her foot I think she is missing the other one. She is still a lovely doll. Maybe you have a perfect torso but are missing a good head. She has an excellent head. If you ever wanted or been in search of a number #1 then this Barbie would be the doll for you. She is a stunning #1 Barbie. She is a wonderful Vintage #1. The Holy Grail of Barbies. The first Skooter Dolls were introduced in 1965, as Skipper’s same size friend – the dolls have the same size body as Skipper and can share all of the same clothing. She is the hard straight leg with 1963 Mattel body mark. This doll is minty! She has no issues at all with her body. Her swimsuit is nice as well as hair and face. All original doll comes with her original hair ribbons, 2 piece swimsuit with nice buckle, red shoes both labeled Japan, stand, box with original liner and booklet. Her box has no issues no split corners and colorful. The inside liner has a tear around arm hole and has been glued back together. Her wrist tag has been removed and lightly taped back on. Hair appears to be a little choppier than usual so it may have been cut. No missing hair plugs. Color is beautiful with very little or no discoloration.
