This product is a vintage and rare Strawberry Shortcake doll from Peru, made in Japan. She has an open / close eyes feature. She also has some sort of mechanics in her back (takes a C battery) I have never been able to get her to work, perhaps you could? I know her shoes and hair elastic are NOT original but I believe everything else to be original (outfit, tights, hair bow). Please see photos and contact me for any questions. She has been stored for many years and or displayed only. She does require a doll stand. She stands about 15-17 inches. Please carefully review the information below to ensure you have the best understanding of this amazing piece before purchasing. This is an original vintage Blonde Ponytail Barbie Doll #5. She includes an original zevra swim suit and feaux pearl earrings. Despite her flaws, she still shows well and is a beautiful doll. Just make sure to capture her good side! Lips, Nails and hair style have been professionally refreshed. All limbs are firm and retain full range of motion. Has NO green ear. Hair style has been refreshed. No grease face. Notable defects (see photos). She has a fixed neck split. The coloring restored is great but it’s noticeable different texture. There is a glob of what appears to be hair gel on her ponytail. She has a few missing hair plugs in the back. No noticeable difference in hair density. I reserve the right to cancel if this requirement isn’t met. Item was just as described, even better in person! Rare Excellent Condition 1959 Vintage BARBIE #3 BLONDE PONYTAIL – Looks STUNNING. This is definitely one of the most beautiful examples of this doll that I have ever seen. Vintage Skooter Doll w/ Box 1963 Titian Red Hair Swimsuit Barbie Mattel – MINT. Came earlier than expected. It was well packaged. She was wrapped in pink tissue paper also on outside of her original box. There was even a thank you sticker on the box. “Thank you – the doll and box is perfect – I cannot believe the condition of everything after 24 years thank you so much”.
