This Rare vintage set of Frozen Charlotte U. WWI Soldiers dolls is a rare find, complete with original box and made in Japan. The set includes 5 dolls in three sizes: 4 inches, 3.5 inches, and 3 inches, all handcrafted with light complexion and black eyes. The dolls are from the Frozen Charlotte series and are porcelain and bisque material, representing Caucasian ethnicity. This unique set is a piece of history from the 1930s, (marked 1935 on back of box). Perfect for collectors of vintage dolls and doll playsets. As photos show, color is great and has typical minor paint loss mainly on the back of the soldiers (case wear) from movement in the box, but this wonderful set has remained in it’s original box for decades being stored away and recently rediscovered. The box is tattered and imperfect, however retains its graphics and color and still presents well.
