Add me to your favorites list- new items added weekly. Vintage 1st Issue Blonde Barbie Bubble Cut. This early bubble cut has the “Barbie” only body and the telltale greasy face and red lips. Also, she has that tight bubble cut hairstyle. She is all original having no repaints, no neck splits, no green ear (ever), and no missing hair plugs. Face paint looks perfect, nail polish is about 80% there. Body is clean, the left arm is swingy, however. The right thigh has some tiny specks that may be from the original mold process because they feel like they are in the vinyl itself. Swimsuit is clean with nice white stripes. She has NO green ear or pinpricks. Her face is beautiful with original lips (slightly faded pale coral or yellow). She has about 95% of her fingernail polish but no toenail polish. Her face and arms are a little darker than her body, but she is a beauty! This is a GORGEOUS blonde #5 from 1961. Her hair is pretty good but the long part is thinned and she has lost her hard curl at the end. Her ponytail is wrapped with her hair. Still very cute and great display quality. The red SS is from later releases. Original 5s came with black and white “zebra” SS but i don’t have one for her! She looks just as amazing in red. There is some loose threads that can be tucked in better. I didn’t want to hide the edges. They are still in tact and the whole thing is very clean. Barbie stamp with R, signaling a number 5 body that goes with our girl’s head! What you get?? Her makeup is mostly untouched. She had no lipstick so I repainted her original red! Her eye brows were a bit faded as well. I touched them up too. She’s really amazing! ? Pretty Red swim suit, circa 1960s. ? Black “Japan” mules. ? Clear Doll stand. I haven’t had her very long, only about 5 months, so that may change but she’s a gorgeous girl. No green, no nips, no splits, no missing digits! A small area of pink on inside arm area left arm (in pics). Small pinkish tone on right wrist from behind (see pictures). Some small pricks near ears. I started to correct them but they are not really noticeable on display. Right foot is a smidge shorter than the left. (see last picture with Japan Stamp). ? Also look at pictures! I may miss small details from time to time. As with all these very old dolls, things can be overlooked. ? This girl is beautiful. And I’m sure you will think so too! ??? Smoke free home but pet friendly. I will happily send more images or answer any questions! I do not alter my items unless I specifically say so. I will always bee as transparent as possible as possible.

Not mint but displays well. Head has no repaints, reroots, splits, nips, green, trimmed or empty plugs. Face paint is complete with the Japanese exclusive eyes. Hair could use a little restyling. Body is marked Japan with tight arms and hips. She will come dressed in her complete tagged Red Sensation outfit. Also includes her wire stand and box. Box has some shelf wear with tariff sticker on the bottom and outfit sticker on the end flap. There is no “best offer” option on this listing.
