This listing is for a vintage rare 1920s Morimura Brothers Dolly face doll. She is about 27in tall. Has a bisque face and composition/cloth body. She has the Morimura marker on the back of her neck with 5 MB Japan. She does not stand on her own. The original owner tied a notecard to her hand with detailed information about her. On the card: Born Dec 25, 1906. Christened named Sweet Charlotte by Mrs. Marion Fogerty August 1967. Original owner Dorothy Weed Peterson. Born Dec 28 1900. Given to Dorothys daughter Joan Peterson Ward. She is a unique doll and a great collectible to have! Doll is in good vintage condition. Hair is a bit matted at the back and there is some dried residue along the hairline. Her face and dress still looks nice. There is a thin crack on her left wrist.
