Vintage Japanese Geisha Doll Red Silk Elaborate Kimono & Fancy Disc Shaped Head Piece Gofun Glass Eyes & Human Hair and what it looks like Gofun-smooth Oyster shell face. The doll is on its original stand with a sticker on the bottom stamped Japan. It is a little dusty due to its age. Japanese traditional dolls are known by the name ningy. In Japan, which literally means human shape. Lacquer called gofun made from ground oystershell and glue, and textiles. Condition: The doll looks like it is in excellent condition I only see some light fading on her lipstick. Doll measures 13 1/2″ tall, with the stand 6 1/2″ W x 5 d. Listing includes doll and stand.
