Vintage #4 MATTEL Blonde Solid Body Ponytail Barbie Doll Japan No Green 1960’s. Hair looks strawberry blonde and needs work, blue eyeshadow. All make-up could use touch ups. Black and white dress & sunglasses (not sure if original) has some wear, No earrings no greening, holes still exist for earrings. Arms move well not loose, fingernail polish is red needs touch up. Torso is in good condition. Legs have some discoloration after cleaning, no greening. Red nail polish on toes need touch up. Bottom of foot says Japan. Barbie badging is on the butt. Leg movement is really good.

This is an authentic Takara Studio Jenny Practice Doll (Type B body) from the early-mid 1990s, made in Japan. She has long blonde hair, green anime-style eyes, and wears her original black elastic “JENNY” shorts. Marked TAKARA JAPAN on her lower back. Japan. Series: Studio Jenny / Practice Model Type B. Era: c. 1993 – 1995. Height: approx. 10.5 in (27 cm). Face mold: 2nd-gen Jenny mold (1992 – 1996). Material: Vinyl head / plastic body. Marking: TAKARA JAPAN??? Condition Very good vintage condition. Hair is soft and full, facial paint bright. Limbs move freely; minor surface wear from age. No cracks slight discolouration around neck. ? Please let us know if you have any questions. The box is dirty and damaged, but the doll has no noticeable scratches or stains. If you look closely, you can see discoloration in the pattern of the dress. The hair tie had deteriorated, so I replaced it with a new one. There are no tags on the clothes. Add me to your favorites list- new items added weekly. Vintage Ponytail Barbie Doll. This doll is in excellent, near mint condition and has no green ear, no neck splits, no haircuts or missing plugs. One strand is broken off (see pic). The top knot is original, the lower band is a replacement. Hair color is a golden blonde. Face paint is all original with no worn areas. There are taps at the ears but it doesn’t appear earrings were ever inserted. Fingernail and toenail polish isn’t 100% but most of it remains. Body is marked Barbie only (not Midge/Barbie). Legs are straight and not splayed, limbs are tight. The right hip has a small smudge of a stain, see last pic. There are no chew marks, scrapes, there is a very pale pink line on the left front thigh (see pic of front torso). Look at the pictures and if I have left anything unanswered, please ask. Presenting the Mattel, vintage, beautiful, “QUICK CURL KELLEY” doll, #4221. She’s wearing her original long, green, swiss dot dress and a pair of white square toe heels with Japan on the bottoms. She went to the spa and had her hair professional washed & reset. All makeup is factory original with no re-touches. 1 Face has beautiful all-over even coloring with no fade spots. 2 No neck splits, no nose nips. 3 No earring holes, no pokes, no green. 4 Both arms are firmly attached with no swing. 5 Both legs are firmly attached with no swing. Both have and hold three clicks. 6 Legs, ankles and feet have NO tears, no pin marks, no impressions. Note: Hips have wavy lines – typical for these legs over time. 7 Body is clean with no signs of play. 8 Dress is minty. Must have been taken off as soon as she was taken out of the box and never put back on. A very beautiful QUICK CURL KELLEY doll for your treasured collection. Please look at the pictures.
