Wonderful little Nippon baby in original condition! Marked Nippon, 601 also numbers NO76018 and a stylized letter F. Nice blue original sleep eyes function as they should. Light brown human hair wig. Strung well, sits up. Composition body is in remarkably good condition for age. Fingers and toes have original red lines. 5 piece costume is really adorable, sweater has a tag that says ” wool and rayon hand made” at collar but is certainly very old, soft. It has pink details and pink silk ribbon. Pink knit panties may be newer. Pink tam made of some soft yarn, possibly Angora. The knit booties fit well and match the sweater. For the purist this is a sweet little doll with precious little little outfit, ready to tuck in a cabinet.

A masterpiece armor carefully handmade to each doll that is profound and heavily shaped design with attention to detail by using traditional techniques. It started in the Nara era, and it was widely established through the “Boy’s Festival”, which is an event to protect boys from illness and disaster during the Heian period. When the custom was transmitted from aristocracy to samurai in the Edo period, the event got held to pray for the healthy growth of the boys who will be a home successor as period goes by. Also, it spread among the common people as an important event wishing for the prosperity of the clan. The custom to decorate armor, helmets and martial dolls at the Boy’s festival, was born from a samurai society. It comes from the tradition of dedicating armor and helmets to the shrine in hopes of safety. In modern times, it is decorated with the wish that armor and helmets that protect a body would protect people from disease and accidents. As always, please consider my pictures part of my. Description, they are meant to aid and describe the items conditions just in case I overlooked something in my details/ description below. I do try to provide you with lots of pictures. VTG Francie 1966, see behind pic, medium blond hair, dressed in Little Bow Pink dress #1463 she is wearing Francie pink shoes, very soft and pliable. Close up pics of eye lashes, just a little nip on nose. Her hair has still a nice curl, tried to detail with pictures. Even though the dress is a bit big on her, pink dress and shoes, marked Japan, go nicely together. Francie is in lovely vintage condition, lots of hair, no missing plugs, medium blond hair, no reddish tones, pictures are a little off on the color. Each lower leg has just the tiniest dark spot, see pictures. And some superficial indentations near lower foot. Not immediately noticeable but wanted to mention. Dress is in original not washed condition; it is missing one top button and needs both loops. Has one original button, see picture. I did not close the dress on her. And one sleeve could use just a couple of stitches on the sleeve. Did I forget anything? Only human, so do please ask away. I do try to research in the hope to get it right. Stand, Dolls, and any props, if present, are NOT included. Smoke free, pet free. I cannot always tell if properly handled, stored, and it what. Do keep in mind. Listing always states how many items you can expect. Any questions feel free to ask. Must be sent back same way it was sent.
