You are purchasing a hard to find Takara Lori (Lisa’s friend) doll. It is new in the box and has never been played with or displayed. The tape at the ends of the box have been cut, see photos 19 & 20. I removed the doll for the listing photos only. The doll measures approximately 8 1/2 tall and comes with her short pink floral dress, panties, magnetic shoes, sealed brush/hair accessories, metal base, Lisa toy brochure and Takara consumer comment card. The box is in very good condition with some minor creasing in the lower front right corner extending to the right side as well as minor creasing in the top front left corner, see photos. Please note the 7″ x 5 1/2″ tear in the cellophane window, see photos 9, 10, 11 & 12. Absent the cellophane tears. I would rate the box as a C8 – 8.5 with C10 being pristine mint. These Lori dolls were Takara’s short lived attempt to import their Licca-Chan Japan dolls into the US market to complete with Barbie. It has been owned by an adult collector and stored in a cool, dry, smoke free basement since the 1980s. See my other listings for additional Takara Lisa & Lori outfits.
