Gorgeous #3 vintage brunette ponytail Barbie doll with well-matched head and body vinyl of a very light creamy tannish coloring… Like cream with just a little coffee in it. The original neck nob has been replaced with an expertly hand-tooled one made of a nylon composition which is virtually unbreakable. It should be noted that this doll’s face retains the original blush, and the original face paint (see picture #2) needed only light touch-ups to eyelid edges and lips (orangey-red color). The touch-up paint is a water-soluble acrylic, and can be easily removed with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip. Picture #1 was taken “after” touch-ups, and picture #2 was taken “before”. The hair appears to be uncut, and the original ponytail is undisturbed, with a new elastic carefully applied. The nail polish is 60% on fingernails and none is left on toenails; it should be noted that there is a very small chip on top of right big toenail; and there are some small blemishes on torso, and some surface scuffs and tiny pricks on lower legs and feet. The original vintage swimsuit is in excellent condition. Overall, this is a beautiful #3 Ponytail Barbie in wonderful condition. This is a beautiful near-perfect #3 vintage ponytail Barbie doll TM body with a nice, straight stance. Overall, there is very little scuffing on this body; there is a light pin dot on outside of upper right thigh and a tinier one on inner back of left thigh; light smudges on calves; and a slightly raised and very lightly-darkened area, about 1/8″ x 1/2″, on outer side of left thigh. The arms having a pinkish tone and the torso has some of the same pinkish tone and some very light, whitish coloring; the legs are a very pale creamy tannish tone.
