Most paint is vibrant, although worn in areas. She does have earring holes, no green ear. She has a full head of hair, may need restyled. She has holes in breasts. Arms and legs hold a pose but are swingy in downward positions. She has a tiny neck split. Swimsuit & Shoes with normal wear, are included. Skipper is in lovely condition as shown; I do not see any issues. Her hair is silky and feels like it was never brushed. She’s marked, SKIPPER 1963 MATTEL, INC. Her swimsuit is good. Red JAPAN shoes show play wear. Her pink “Junior Bridesmaid” dress is lovely with ribbon and original tag still attached. Pink JAPAN shoes are nice. Her yellow “Flower Girl” dress displays well but needs ribbons retied. The yellow flower headband needs attention and the ribbons have green discoloration as shown. White JAPAN shoes are nice. Her robe and pajama pants are nice. The pajama top was cut off as shown and has a spot on one side. The cat has replaced glass eyes. Also included will be a shoe box for each pair of shoes, box for accessories and hangers. A wonderful addition to any vintage Barbie collection! All items are from a pet and smoke free home. Vintage Barbie Doll Evening Gala Fashion 1660 from 1966 With Japan Shoes- Complete The full length brocade overdress is lined in aqua satin and is split all the way up the front of the lined dress which can be worn with either the aqua satin skirt or ruffled hem bell bottom pants. The brocade appears to have some worn areas around the neckline and arm holes. All pieces look pretty clean. But please zoom in on the photos in case I’ve missed something. Beautiful vintage #4 Ponytail Barbie doll (brunette, 1960, TM body) dressed in her tagged Mattel “Sheath Sensation” #986 ensemble (1961-64) with accessories. Authentic early Ponytail #4 Barbie with TM-marked body and “Barbie®” script stamp. Brunette hair, blue eyeshadow, red lips. Retains most of her original red fingernail polish; no toenail polish as issued. Body is solid with no loose limbs. Shows light vintage wear: faint scuffs on calves, very tiny straight pin pricks in chest area (common on early dolls), and tiny factory ear starter holes. Face paint shows a trace of lipstick missing on upper lip, and eyelash paint could use touch-up if desired. Outfit details (all authentic Mattel). Tagged red Sheath Sensation dress (#986, 1961-64). Matching red vinyl clutch purse with faux pearl accent. Pearl necklace on wire strand (original Mattel accessory used in multiple early Barbie evening fashions). Shoes: Includes a pair of authentic 1960s Mattel red open-toe heels marked Japan. Note: The original Sheath Sensation set came with white heels – the red shoes included here are vintage Mattel but not the original shoes for this fashion.
