Stunning Vintage 1959 Pale Blonde # 1 Ponytail Barbie TM 850 Japan. All original, no repainting or retouching. Nice even pale complexion from head to toe. Beautiful blonde factory hair set with original top knot. No hair cuts or rerooting. It could be restyled if you so desire. Original gold hoop earrings. No green ears or discolorations. Makeup is factory original and just stunning! Beautiful bright blue eye shadow, black eyeliner, and cherry red lipstick, that was ever so popular in the 1950s. Original black and white striped maillot swimsuit. Also comes with vintage 1950s red polka dot cover-up for the beach. Cherry red nails and toe nails. Holes in the bottom of feet with one metal tube visible. I’m not sure if the other one is still intact. Barbie TM mark on derrière. Barbie is in excellent lightly played with condition for a doll of this age. She does have some minor surface scratches and dirt to the body which all vintage Barbie dolls have. The body has the lovely crayon smell all the first three ponytail dolls are reputed to have. There is a light stain from the shoes that many of the ponytail dolls have after years of wearing their shoes. It is however a great indication of a vintage doll. Confirmed and verified address.
