Vintage 1960s Titian SWIRL PONYTAIL in Learns To Cook withJapan Heels+ BEAUTY
Here is a beautiful vintage 1960s titian swirl ponytail doll wearing a Barbie Learns to Cook #1634 (or Lunchtime #1673) dress. The doll is in excellent clean condition, and I had her ponytail professionally retied. She has nice shiny red hair without missing plugs, and still has her original hair ribbon. There is one short strand in the ponytail, but I think it’s part of the center wrap that didn’t get secured. I see no wear on her face paint except a light rub on her eyelash ridge; her lips are a light coral color. She has a hint of green ear on the right that posts would cover; there are two pierces to each ear lobe. I will include the pearl gold filled posts, and took pictures both with & without earrings. Her Midge Barbie body is in excellent condition; I see no obvious marks or scrapes. Most all of her finger & toe nail polish is intact. The Barbie logo dress is in excellent condition with a nice B&W tag; the pink belt looks like a repro. The orange Japan open toe heels are also in great condition without splits or damage. There are no obvious odors & this come from a non-smoking home; however I don’t know the history. Don’t miss out, & thanks for looking! Barbie clothes are light, & can often be sent for the same amount or little more. #821 Vintage Barbie In Japan Outfit Complete Near Mint With Dotw Doll
The doll of the world doll is in very good condition with nice body , 1966 Tawain on her back and joints tight. Her shiny thick hair has a broken rubberband showing but is till in up do. THE OUTFIT IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION AND 100% VINTAGE 60’S The obi is in great condition with nice bright colors and working snaps. The red kimono is in very good condition with bright colors, white piece that goes around her neck is attached with working snap and wrinkled at the waist from the obi. ALL 3 hair pieces are in very good condition with nice flowers and accents. The red thongs – shoes – are in very good condition with the white socks very nice as well and no longer attached to the thongs. The fan is in great condition with nice gold color and nice “handle”. The saismen – guitar – is in great condition with NO melt marks, tassles very nice and all 3 white “sticks” on the top. Lastly is the pamphlet in great condition with bright colors and NO tears. In flawless condition, a lovely and rare pair of grape (raspberry) closed toe pumps from the fabulous #1498 JC Penney Shoe Bag manufactured by Mattel in 1970 for Barbie. (Eames, page 122) Very hard to find, grape pumps are glossy and bright with straight heels and matching toes. Both pumps are marked Japan. Last image compares grape to hot pink color.
