This is a spectacular Vintage #3 Brunette Ponytail Barbie with brown eyeliner. You can see why #3 ponytails are so coveted right now among vintage collectors with this doll. That sultry makeup and oh-so-sweet face! She has the preferred brown eyeliner under smoky eye shadow. Her lips are the classic tomato red lips with matching nose dots. Best of all, she retains tons of her original cheek blush! She is just perfect. Her hair has a long, straight ponytail and a thin black satin ribbon cinching it together near the bottom. Her bangs retain a multitude of tiny original curls. She has no green, no neck splits, no nose nips. She does have a few pale orange marks on two feet/calves and on the back of one arm. Ive seen these dots on other vintage dolls but I dont know what causes them. Her skin tone is very peach-toned all over; no ivory discoloration on her torso or face. The vinyl also has the waxy, crayon smell. Her joints are all tight: neck arms, thighs. Her stance is also narrow with no spacing between the feet. She has most of her finger and toe nail paint. She will come in her Gay Parisienne R box with pedestal stand. The box is in poor to fair condition with all seams having been reinforced with tape. There are some spots on the bottom of the box. The stand is in good to very good condition with smudge marks on the surface of the pedestal bottom. The doll will be wearing her black-and-white zebra swimsuit; also included are her hoop earrings, the second Barbie (only) fashion booklet, black heels, and sunglasses.
