Barbie’s gorgeous “Fabulous Fashion” (outfit #1676) was only available in 1966. “Magnificence” (outfit #1646) was available in 1965. Both outfits are very hard to find. The only difference between them: “Magnificence” includes a slip and pink open toe heels; “Fabulous Fashion” does not include a slip and the open toe heels are clear with silver glitter. The clothing is exactly the same. I have included the heels for. Outfits, thus the only item missing for “Magnificence” is the slip. This listing is for the “Fabulous Fashion” COMPLETE outfit and includes the following. Long formal gown with sleeveless red satin bodice. Light pink taffeta full skirt (photo #9). Taffeta has some small, scattered light stains (a “splattered” look) that I have not tried to remove. They cannot be seen under the overskirt. Light pink chiffon overlay skirt. I could not find any runs, pulls or snags. White flocked floral design on the chiffon is accented with crystal glitter. One piece of glitter has a tiny light red area underneath that barely shows on the edge. Perhaps some glue residue? It’s so small and hidden in a fold, but I believe in full disclosure. Two panels attached at the waist in the back are red satin lined with white satin. One panel has what looks like a light water stain (photo #10). I have not tried to remove it. Fastens with an attached snap. Matching red satin jacket with fluffy white fur collar. Two panels in the front are aligned with the two red panels in the back of the gown to create the look of an evening coat. Both are lined in white satin. Fastens at the waist with a snap and accented with two rhinestones (one looks more sparkly than the other). The red is vibrant and the white fur has not yellowed or thinned. Pair of open toe heels with silver glitter. The left one is appropriately marked’Japan. Pair of pink open toe heels with no splits. The left one is appropriately marked Japan. ” Since the clothing is the same as “Magnificence (minus the slip), I have included the heels for that outfit as well. No holes, tears or repairs.
