Vintage Barbie American Girl Blonde Straight Leg-oss Incl Paper Japan Tag+shoes

I have been told that because she has straight legs her head has been placed on an older, straight leg body. I have seen several of these dolls, mostly blonde with the straight legs through the years and have never been able to understand why anyone would prefer this pretty head on a body without the bend legs. I thought it may be a transitional doll. Her hair is very nice and full and is actually a little smushed at the back so you can see through it but she is missing no plugs. Her torso is overall pretty clean but her legs are soiled. The places on the front of her upper thigh have for the most part rubbed off with my finger so I believe them to be quite superficial. Her face is near perfect, with all of her make up intact. Her lips have turned buttery. Except for a couple of little areas on her lips that are missing paint. There is no green ear as she has no earring holes. Her original swimsuit retains both the Barbie tag and a paper (sewn into the seam) made in Japan tag which Ive never seen. Her left shoe is marked Japan as it should be. This is a very pretty example of this doll. Please look at all of my photographs as they are the visual portion of my description. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Please take into consideration the fact that the items for sale here are from numerous places. I have no way of knowing what they have been exposed to. Once in a while a piece will get listed that I do not realize has an odor. Some people have a more acute sense of smell than myself. She is all original with no staining, no greening and beautiful makeup and polish. All joints are tight and she has a heavy white creamy TM #3 body that smells like crayons. Her TM box is missing the bottom flap but otherwise is in great shape. The TM stand is in excellent condition. She comes with a very hard to find complete outfit #1639, along with all the #3 ponytail accessories (pink booklet, sunglasses, black Japan heels).
