Vintage kokeshi doll called “Country Girl” by master Yoshio Otani (1936-). Master Yoshio Ohtani was born in 1936. He began making kokeshi dolls in 1968 and has received many awards for his beautiful dolls: the Agriculture Award in 1978 and the Secretary of the Interior Award in 1982, as well as many other awards over the years. A rare doll, in a beautiful kimono with Japanese cranes. The set includes a plate with the signature and seal of the author. In good condition with minor signs of age and use.
