This is the ORIGINAL and I have owned it long before the reproductions came out. It is not recommended that you place them in Barbie’s ears as they are likely to turn the vinyl green. The description for each piece i as follows. Dress: Lovely blue and white cotton. No damage or repairs. Has the original YKK zipper but no tag. Tag was cut off before I got it. Hat: Broad straw bonnet with pale blue satin ribbon. Straw has started to unravel around the edges. The ribbon hs one repair on one length. The inner band is present and does unfold but does not retain its original form. Therefore bobby pins will be needed to hold the hat onto the head. Purse: In excellent, HTF condition. All the fruits and closure are present and in great shape. Necklace: ORIGINAL pearl necklace. Chain has tarnished and pearl is not bright but intact. Shoes: O/T sandals with Japan clearly marked under left shoe. One shoe is a bit darker than the other. Telephone: pink plastic telephone has original cord from the receiver to the handset. The cord is somewhat dingy and has a few knots in it. Although this outfit is starting to show it age almost 65 yrs old! , it is still a lovely display piece of Barbie history!
