Antique 16 Morimura Bros Toddler Baby Doll Bisque Head Composition Body Japan. Antique Bisque Head Character Toddler Baby With Straight Leg Composition Body. She was made in Japan in the early 1900 (1915) Morimura Bros made copies of the German Bisque dolls & supplied them to the American Market & Other Markets during World War 1. She has her original glass blown blue eyes. They are not rocker but are stationary. Her brown mohair wig is antique & original. Her clothing looks vintage / old but maybe a replaced outfit but not sure. Her clothing has some wear but it is old and looks good on her. She also has some paint rubs to her cheeks but it is not bad. Morimura Brothers of Japan (MB). DOLL MARKINGS: Circle MB (Morimura Bros Logo) / Japan ANTIQUE, VINTAGE OR MODERN: Antique. MATERIAL: She has a bisque head and a composition straight leg body Her body’s stringing is good. EYES: She has blue glass stationary eyes. FACE: She has a lovely coloring in her face & an open mouth with 2 teeth. She is a character baby. HAIR: She is original mohair brown. CLOTHING: She wears a cream cotton baby dress. She has a cream under slip & pantaloons. Her stockings are cream but her booties are knitted pink. Her dress has some wear due to age. DOLL CONDITION: She is a very sweet antique Japanese doll. She has no breaks or chips to her bisque head. She has some paint rubs on her cheek a little. Her composition body has some normal wear. Her clothing is vintage / old & has some wear It looks authentic to her but maybe handmade and a replacement. She is a lovely Morimura Antique doll. She is a good example of Morimura Brothers Dolls that were exported to countries to replace the German Dolls during the war. She would be a lovely addition to your collection. Antique Victorian HERTWIG CHINA HEAD DOLL LOT Bisque Boy Girl Pair 1800s Toy

Antique 1800s Victorian Porcelain Bisque Doll Lot. Boy & Girl, 7” These two dolls came to me together. They may be Hertwig dolls or Nippon dolls. The last photo shows a Hertwig catalog with the same girl’s head. Yet I think the back of her neck may say Japan, which might indicate Nippon would have to check. I have noticed that the Japanese copied many German dolls and dollhouse items at that time. The pair are very sweet together! Both have porcelain heads, hands and feet. The bodies are handstitched. They are dressed in underclothing, and this is worn and has holes. They likely originally had clothing over this. The girl wears finely knit bloomers which flare outward at the cuffs, with a low neckline. She wears two blue bows in her hair. Both dolls are blonde with blue eyes. Their feet have painted reddish brown shoes. The bisque is stained and has paint loss. Please see photos for condition and measurements. Listing is for two dolls and does not include other items. RARE Antique GERMAN DOLL Asian Japan BISQUE Head Jointed Body Simon Halbig 14

LOOKING FOR NEW HOME! Antique bisque head bleuette sized Asian/Oriental/Japanese doll. Open/close brown eyes with lashes. She is approx 14 tall on fully ball jointed body. German Made by Simon & Halbig. Her body is in very good condition. Her clothes are originally sewn in place hence they aren’t removable, least not with out damaging her outfit. I have throughly felt her limbs through her clothing and all feels perfect. She shows all signs of never having been undressed. Shoes and socks are glued in place at the base of her feet, so they are also non removable. She has her original wig and pate which are removable as it seems her glue holding it I place has long dried off. She is wearing her original antique oriental silk dress, wig, and shoes. The antique silk fabric of the robe and embroidered decorations is sound with no signs of degradation. The red silk lining on the robe is also sound. The antique flowers on her hair and robe have some signs of aging. Her faux coral bead earrings, I believe, are not original to her but rather must have been added at some point in the past. The red silk obi sash on her back has started to deteriorate. The material is very frail and has started to shatter. NOTE: As with ANY antique/vintage item expect imperfections and or usual age or wearability signs. Any considerable damage will be noted, otherwise the item is in good presentable condition. Some dolls have been redressed for display with newer antique replica clothing. Some dolls retain original antique clothing. SOME but not all antique doll clothing has been hand washed and line dry, and or may have had some hand sewn alterations or repairs. Lot Vintage Bisque Penny Frzn Charolette Small Dolls Nippon Japan 20s 30s. They appear to be 20s- 40s. They are all very unique and very charming. Bisque or porcelainnot sure of all the materials. I try to represent my items honestly and accurately. But Im not sure what to look for so please read the description and zoom in on pictures. Ask questions or ask for more photos. The two that are holding books have a tiny chip on their feet. The girl with the red dress and red hat has a jointed head with a little elastic. Its naturally titled to the side. Almost like you can make it move or nod. I see a couple fissure lines. Not really that noticeable to me but see pictures. One in front and one in back and can make out an ny inscription in the back. The boy in the black tux looking outfit has jointed arms that swivel. The twin babies with fabric clothes have jointed/swivel arms. Im afraid to take off the clothes and ruin them not sure what kind of joint they have. The backs of the dresses show some wear. I do not edit my photos. They are very old so see pictures for wear and vintage/antique condition. Vintage Bow Loop Pudgy Bisque 6 1/2 Doll with VHTF Dog & Box Made in Japan

This adorable little bisque doll is still attached with string to her original box and still has her little dog who is also still attached to the box. While this type of vintage bisque doll is fairly common, finding one still attached to her box and still with her little dog is quite a rare find! The doll measures approx. Her box is marked, “Made in Japan”. CONDITION: Never removed from box. The doll, dog and box all have acquired some soil from many decades of storage. Box has some wear and tear.
