Google translates one word as “Sendai”. Tall black top-knot, cone-shaped. Brown & Tan Wood. Weighs about 8.5 oz. These came from the aunt of my friend. The aunt was a missionary overseas and died in 1978. She was in Pusan and Seoul much of my friend’s childhood, so a good guess is that these are from some time in the late 60’s until 1978. For a fun story about the aunt, when one of the huge underground tunnels from the North was discovered and the families of the servicemen were evacuated stateside, she and a chaplain chose to remain to do what they could in case of an invasion.
