Vintage Barbie 1965 Brunette High Color Bend Leg Ken Lifelike Bendable Legs MIB

Up for sale is this gorgeous high-color bend-leg Brunette Ken doll from 1965 in his original box. Doll has striking face paint with blush, nice painted hair (almost perfect but maybe a few minor light rubs), clean body with no chews, pin pricks, etc. He wears his original red shorts and blue jacket with “K” and has been. Carefully re-placed in the original box along with his stand, booklet and sandals (in new cello bag). Box has been repaired with several seams and tears carefully glued (the tape marks seen on the one corner of the lid are just residue – no tape remains). Box lid also has a puncture between the tail of the “K” and “He’s a doll” – probably from a gift bow. Box also just has some general wear as seen in photos. While not for someone who wants true NRFB/minty, it is a nice mint-in-box example that displays well without the NRFB price. This doll really does not show up often with the original box and high-color makeup. Please view the photos for details of condition. Vintage 1967 Barbie TNT Twist’N Turn Doll #1160 HIGH COLOR Ash Blonde OSS Swim

This listing is for a gorgeous 1967 High Color. Twist’N Turn Barbie #1160 wearing her original 3-piece swimsuit. She has beautiful ash blonde hair that is silky, soft, and shiny with no trims or missing plugs. Her face paint and makeup look great and still has a very peachy complexion, her eyelashes are still nice, long, and full, and her cheeks have retained plenty of high color blush. She has no earring holes, green ear, paling, or neck splits whatsoever. It looks like she has the tiniest nick on her right ear which I didn’t even realize existed until it showed up in photos, so it’s barely noticeable, but thought I would mention. Fingernail polish still present but have faded somewhat. Her hair could probably use restyling as it’s a bit messy and the right side of her scalp is showing ever so slightly, but again no missing plugs. She is on a TNT body marked Made in Japan with tight limbs. There is brown staining on her right leg — see photos. No musty smells but her body does smell a bit like crayons. The two-piece orange swimsuit is in nice condition, the B&W Barbie (R) tag is still intact, but the net covering is TLC and has a tear in the back. I have tried to describe everything that might be important to a collector, but please refer to photos for additional information as they’re an important part of the product description. Here is a very lovely American girl. Her gorgeous lips are original. Her big flaw is a small neck split starting. She has one earring hole attempt and no ear stains. Neither leg is swingy at the hip. The knees hold a pose. There are a couple pinpricks (more like indents) on the heel. There are no missing fingers and her nail paint has been refreshed. She makes a lovely display doll. MARKS: doll is marked Barbie TM//Pats. HAIR: SOFT Blonde rooted bangs and ponytail. The ponytail is in its original style but. No empty hair plugs. COLORING: tan skin tones that all match in color even though the photos may suggest otherwise. There are no extra ear piercings holes. Small amount of green by the ears. She has all the original nail polish on her fingers and toes. Clothes: wearing her original black and white knit swimsuit. One shoe is marked Japan and the other is unmarked as is correct.
