DOLL MODEL / MOLD NUMBER: Number 1 / #1 850 DOLL MARKINGS: There are markings on right bum cheek reads: Barbie TM Pats Pending c MCMLVIII On the other cheek reads “82” (See photos) ANTIQUE, VINTAGE OR MODERN: Original Vintage. She is in all original. She does not have any repainting on her face or body. Her clothing & shoes with holes are all original. Her hair is nice condition and is thick but needs to be restyled in the ponytail. She has no missing hair plugs. She does NOT have green ears, any neck splits or nose nips. However, she does have some dirt or something on her face. I was afraid to wash it off I did not want to do damage to her face paint. I will let new owner clean her. She is missing her original hoop earrings. She has a wonderful head. Her Body: Her body is where she has the most issues. Her arms & legs are excellent. Her feet & fingers both have original polish & NO chew marks or missing fingers. Her only problem is: The knob on the neck that holds the head on the body broke off. It looks as though the previous owner tried to fix it by inserting a nail in the neck of the doll which caused the neck to split. I would imagine it could be removed & repaired with milliput or some other material. Or perhaps you could use her body for parts. She has the holes in the bottom of her feet. There is only 1 metal cylinder in her foot I think she is missing the other one. She is still a lovely doll. Maybe you have a perfect torso but are missing a good head. She has an excellent head. If you ever wanted or been in search of a number #1 then this Barbie would be the doll for you. She is a stunning #1 Barbie. She is a wonderful Vintage #1. The Holy Grail of Barbies.
