Up for your consideration. Vintage Barbie Roman Holiday #968 (1959) HTF ALL ORIGINAL. Found only in the 1959 catalog, accessories included a white plastic purse with gold bead closure, black-rimmed glasses , white plastic comb, and hankie. The outfit includes the dress and belt from Cruise Stripes #918 with a matching red and white ribbed coat with red half chiffon lining and gold-buttoned front. The hat is difficult to find a red straw cord half-hat with cord bow in back. Other accessories includes a “pearl” on chain necklace, white short tricot gloves, and black open-toe #1 shoes. Outfit and accessories are in good used condition. Please review all photos completely as they are also part of the descriptions. I have tried to describe item(s) to the best of my ability. Vintage Barbie Doll Clothes Roman Holiday Coat Original Rare 1959 Japan

You are purchasing a Vintage Barbie Doll Clothes Roman Holiday Coat Original Rare 1959 Japan. This is a rare item. It goes to Roman Holiday only, which is one of the hardest Mattel barbie outfits to find, as it was only made for a short period. It is the striped Roman Holiday coat with gold buttons and the inner original chiffon. This is a original Mattel item it has the R tag. It is a very displayable. The color on this is nice not dingy, only very minor soil /age mostly on the collar area(please not the material used on this outfit is a muted color so it is not a bright white or red and that is how it is supposed to be). No major stains found has age but it is not major. All Bead buttons decor is there only minor wear. The outer shell of the coat is really in nice shape no holes or tears. The original chiffon has flaws. The original chiffon is extremely fragile it does have some holes and tears in the material that is why when this coat is found often it is missing the chiffon or with replaced chiffon. All shown in the close ups. It will not really hurt the display of this because once on barbie will not be noticed and when carded displayed it is not overly noticeable until you start spreading it out. It is a displayable piece. All flaws are shown in the photos are taken in natural light so you can see any detail clearly. Minty Pearl Drop Necklace. Minty #1 Gold Hoop Earrings. Very Nice Hankie w/ slight soiling. Black Cat Eye rimmed Glasses w/ tiny dimple in one lens, did not want try to push it out. Excellent Black Japan Open Toe Heel. Very Nice White Clutch Purse. Minty short white tricot gloves. Very nice white comb. Also; found a vintage little pink comb/ will include. Came across a Vintage Tiny Brass Compact but no “B” engraved etc. (thought I’d add it in for outfit). Will also include; a teeny tiny pink powder puff /make up sponge that goes with it. Htf Vintage Barbie #968 Roman Holiday Outfit Tm Coat, Original Hat, Japan Shoes

Authentic Vintage #968 Roman Holiday outfit found only in the 1959 catalog. (DOLL NOT INCLUDED) Display purposes only! Includes the following: TM tagged long red and white striped coat with lining. The lining has torn as shown in the photos and there are a few tiny specks of dirt. All buttons intact and seams appear tight. Nice condition, looks like there are a couple loose threads at the zipper on one side. Original Black hinged cat eye glasses with lens, Great condition. Black heels, Japan marked to one shoe. Original short white gloves, Very good condition. Original white plastic envelope purse with silver fastener, Very good condition. Pearl necklace, oxidized at clasp and finish has come off of most of the pearls. This is one of the RAREST vintage Barbie outfits available and only produced one year, Get it now!
