Vintage Blonde First Issue Bubble Cut Barbie Original Striped Suit Stand Shoes. Marked Barbie R on her tush, I believe this is a first issue Bubble cut Barbie. Hollow number 5 body? In good vintage condition for her age. She had very slight green ear, which I treated with CLR. Can’t see it now but wanted to disclose it. No neck splits, all fingernail and toenail polish is in good condition. Legs and arms are tight. Make up looks nice. Original vintage striped swimsuit and wire stand. Shoes are not marked Japan so may have been a later edition or maybe two that were unmarked that were separated from the marked shoe. Barbie VINTAGE Blonde 2nd Issue GROWIN’ PRETTY HAIR BARBIE Doll

Not mint but nice for display. Dolls have been wiped down with a damp cloth but could use a little cleaning. Head has no repaints, reroots, splits, nips, green, trimmed or empty plugs. Face paint is complete with lashes in both eyes. Hair has been retied on top and the ponytail is fully retracted and won’t retract. Body has tight arms but one hip is a little swingy with a wide stance. Legs are attached properly and pose as they should but please be aware that the joints are a fragile Mattel design flaw and should be handled carefully. No splits or pinpricks. She will come dressed in her original outfit in played with condition. There is no “best offer” option on this listing. Now for the fine print: DESCRIPTION Smoke free home but the previous environment may not have been smoke/pet free. Any odors detected will be addressed. All original face paint. Great nail polish on hands, none on feet. Some of the plugs in the front of her hairline are quite thin or missing, however she has been professionally styled so that her bangs hide the thin plugs in the front of her hair and bangs have been swooped so that a hairclip can be placed perfectly. No earring holes, so no green ears. A very tiny pink spot on arm and light soiling on shoulders as shown in detail photos. Some tiny pricks, barely visible, on feet. See detail photos of flaws. Comes complete with RARE original STRIPES AWAY dress and kerchief which are very vibrant and still have the new, crisp feel to the fabric. One side of the snap on the dress is missing. Vintage Blonde Barbie Bubble Cut Mattel 1st Issue #850 1961 Doll. Some green around ear holes, not bad See pics! Right ear has a small slit by hole. Earrings Pearl finish is worn off. Face slightly greasy, mostly around eyes. Hair is original style, tight. Has a waxy feel to me. Makeup is very nice, lips are red have some fading in left corner. Blue Eyes and Liner. Left thigh has a flaw spot. Body is in good condition. Left arm little loose in down position. Both will hold positions. Torso I believe is hollow. Nail and toe polish is good. A very nice doll overall! Bottom Reads Barbie Pats Pen MCMLVIII some fading on mark R is faded and Part of Pend.
