Rare and flawless silk-faced Japanese doll depicting a traditional bride from the nobility of the Edo Period. She wears a billowing embroidered “Haori” overcoat. She presents herself beautifully with a hand fan and a full dressing of “kanzashi” ornaments atop her head. She stands at 24 tall on a simple wooden base.
