This is a Mint In Box Malibu PJ doll from the Barbie family of dolls produced by MATTEL in 1970. This was part of the Sun Set doll collection and featured a tan which had never been seen on Barbie dolls before and was all the rage in the early 70’s. She is a TNT (Twist and Turn) doll and comes complete with her swimsuit, towel still in it’s plastic cover, sunglasses and hair done in pigtails with beads. She still has her original PJ wristband and she is still attached to her box with a plastic armband in the back, and the plastic cellophane is still on her head. No greening to be found. The box is in great shape for it’s age but does have some staining on it and some minimal wear on the edges. The punch hole used for hanging has never been punched out of the box. There is also a black marker spot on the back of the box near the punch hole at the top corner. The plastic covering for the doll is still intact on the box but it does have a crack in the upper left corner. A great addition for a collector! All of my items are from a smoke free environment.
