Vintage 1969 SEARS Exclusive Twist N Turn TNT Stacey Nite Lightning Gift Set 1591 NRFB Japan Mint. Very hard to find in this condition! Gorgeous first issue 1969 short flip “copper penny” redhead Stacey doll with the trendy flip hairstyle of the 1960s! She has bendable legs and real eyelashes. It is interesting to note that the 1969 issue dolls have longer hair than the 1970 issues. This set is incredibly hard to find, let alone in this condition. The cellophane has never been removed and everything is still sealed! All the contents are mint and untouched. The outfit card is stamped Made in Japan. Stacey doll is perfectly peachy pink from head to toe with perfect hair (with original string), 100% manicure on hands and feet. Wrist tag is perfect. Original sealed booklet intact, dated 1968. Her clear mod X-stand is intact. All original liners and inserts. This set is 100% original vintage 1969, not a reproduction. You will most likely never see one as nice again! Stacey’s Nite Lightning outfit is absolutely stunning! The bright colors and mod flair contrast beautifully with Stacey’s Copper Penny Redhead hair. This set consists of a mod multi-colored swimsuit, pink satin cocktail dress with multi colored metallic fringe skirt, blue satin coat with short puffed sleeves and brooch, sheer blue hose, blue bow shoes, and pink Barbie hanger. The box is in excellent vintage condition, no split corners, although there are some minor creases (which is to be expected with age). The graphics / artwork are absolutely gorgeous! You’d be hard pressed to find a nicer example in this condition! This set is a gem and would definitely be a highlight to any collection, as there are so few examples out there like this!
