This is a GORGEOUS blonde #5 from 1961. Her hair is pretty good but the long part is thinned and she has lost her hard curl at the end. Her ponytail is wrapped with her hair. Still very cute and great display quality. The red SS is from later releases. Original 5s came with black and white “zebra” SS but i don’t have one for her! She looks just as amazing in red. There is some loose threads that can be tucked in better. I didn’t want to hide the edges. They are still in tact and the whole thing is very clean. Barbie stamp with R, signaling a number 5 body that goes with our girl’s head! What you get?? Her makeup is mostly untouched. She had no lipstick so I repainted her original red! Her eye brows were a bit faded as well. I touched them up too. She’s really amazing! ? Pretty Red swim suit, circa 1960s. ? Black “Japan” mules. ? Clear Doll stand. I haven’t had her very long, only about 5 months, so that may change but she’s a gorgeous girl. No green, no nips, no splits, no missing digits! A small area of pink on inside arm area left arm (in pics). Small pinkish tone on right wrist from behind (see pictures). Some small pricks near ears. I started to correct them but they are not really noticeable on display. Right foot is a smidge shorter than the left. (see last picture with Japan Stamp). ? Also look at pictures! I may miss small details from time to time. As with all these very old dolls, things can be overlooked. ? This girl is beautiful. And I’m sure you will think so too! ???
