Original Ken #750 doll (1961-63) by Mattel, made in Japan. This early flocked-hair Ken features blue eyes, molded brows, and a solid body. He is wearing his original #787 “Dinner Date” tuxedo ensemble (1961) including black satin-lapel jacket, black trousers, ivory pleated shirt, red cummerbund, and brown bow tie. Flocked hair in very good shape with one visible line but no bald spots. Shirt shows mild age discoloration near collar and edges. Outfit otherwise clean and well-kept. Displayed behind glass for 30+ years, smoke-free environment. Aftermarket metal stand included. Classic early 1960s Ken in formal attire – perfect companion to early Ponytail Barbie!
