Rare vintage battery powered Typist doll tin toy of 50’s, made in Japan. Toy is in good working order, it is entirely made of tin except for doll’s face, palm and fingers, there are minor rust spots on the toy and some color loss on the doll’s chair as it is old and made of tin, rubber band in the hair of doll is lately added, some letters on the paper inside typewriter has faded, overall condition of toy is good for its old age. On switching the toy the typist turns her head and moves her hand as if she is typing, paper inside typewriter goes up and down and there are lights inside the typewriter. It is indeed a rare collectible piece as well as a adorable decorative item, would surely look beautiful on any shelf, will be a superb addition to any old tin toy collection and a must for old Typist tin toy collector’s..
