This is a very pretty early 60s, blonde bubble cut Barbie. She comes with her original box (hard to find, especially in this condition) red helenca swimsuit and red open toes shoes. Her bubble hair is nice and tight and still maintains some of the curl. No missing plugs or other detractions in her hair. Her face is gorgeous. I believe it to be the American girl face. It is so pretty! There is a tiny speck of paint missing in one eye in the blue pupil- only noticeable upon very close inspection. One eyebrow is perfect, but the other, that is covered by the hair is only partial. No green ear, no neck splits. Her light pink lipstick has faded but is still slightly visible. Her nails are near complete. I would say 85% on the fingers and 95% on the toes which is rare. Her body is super clean. Her limbs are very tight and hold position easily. Her original box is included. It is in really nice condition. Very white and bright. One corner of the lid has a small split. Truly a rare find in this condition and with so many pieces of her original ensemble. As mentioned one red shoe does have a split, easily replaceable. Still holds on for display nicely. This darling bubble cut Barbie is one of the rarest Barbies I have ever laid hands on. Plus, she is in her original box, with all her extras. This doll is truly gorgeous! She has the prettiest face with all original and complete face paint. This includes the lovely bubble gum pink pouty lips which have not faded! She has that sultry eye with thick black eyeliner. Her eyebrows are bold and all there. Her nail polish and toe polish is nearly all there and it is the coral color. She has absolutely no green, extra pin pricks or earring holes, no missing hair plugs, no split. Her body is tight, tight tight! I don’t think she was played with much, if at all. Her limbs easily hold positions and are free of stains, odors, or marks. She comes with her black wire stand, fashion booklet and is donning her red jersey swimsuit and her matching red open toe heels. The swimsuit and heels are both excellent. She is on the midge body, as she should be. Although her hair has oxidized, she still has a very pretty color and sheen to it. Amazingly, her original bubble hairdo is still tight and she retains the side curls. She WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! I guarantee my items to be as described and pack very safely. Vtg #2 BUBBLE CUT BARBIE 850 – Raven W/Pedestal In B. Suit IN ORIG BOX-Read Desc. Extremely Rare #2 Barbie. Left Buttocks – #2. Doll has some “flaking” on her face. From my research I have learned this is considered degrading or white powder caused by leeching plasticizer. There are no known ways to stop the plastics from degrading but can cosmetically treat the problem. There are very minor spots of this on her foot, which can be seen in the close up photo of her feet. Box has wear from storage. One side panel is missing (photographed). Edges of box are loose/separated. I have not attempted to tape or repair these in any way. There is also writing on one side of the bottom of the box (photographed). Doll comes with pedestal, bathing suit, shoes, box. Bathing suit is in good condition with no rips or tears. Barbie’s nails and toenails are painted. Her hair is in nice condition with the “Bubblecut” style in a Raven color. Limbs are in good working order. Small mark on the back of one leg which I have photographed and pointed out. You are looking at a vintage 1962 Mattel Midge Barbie Doll. This doll is in excellent condition with no marks or flaws. She has been very well taken care of. The doll has brunette hair and her hair is still very intact like it was when it came out. The doll comes with the stand, original box, and the pamphlet. She does not have shoes. The box is in somewhat rough condition with one corner that is completely split. The box also has some rough corners as well. Tammy has a beautiful face with nice face paint and blush. Her hair is shiny and curly with bobby pins as shown. She’s marked, IDEAL TOY CORP. GS-12″ behind her head and “IDEAL TOY CORP. GS-12 5 on her back. Doll is in lovely condition. Romper is very nice. White tennis shoes, stand and booklet are all nice. The box shows shelf wear on edges, a couple splits on edges and wavy cardboard. Inside box has original neck insert and a piece of tissue paper. The clothes laying in front of trunk will need cleaning and/or mending, buttons attached, etc. The red wrap is missing the pearl pin. Blue skirt has some fading and school dress has a tiny moth hole on skirt. Ideal Tammy Model Miss Travel Trunk with great graphics for display. The handle and clasp are present and trunk stays closed just fine. The trunk is missing all inside cardboard, has a split on outside back seam at bottom and slight bend at top, will need cleaning and rust removal on all metal parts as shown. There is brown glue residue inside where cardboard used to be attached that will need to be removed and the identification frame has come loose inside as shown. ORIGINAL VINTAGE BRUNETTE #4 PONYTAIL BARBIE and. LONG HAIRED AMERICAN GIRL. Includes Original Clothing and Stands. Up for sale are two beautiful dolls; a long-haired American Girl Barbie and a very early brunette #4 Ponytail Barbie. The Ponytail is on a solid “Barbie TM” body. She is one of the transition dolls between the #3 and #4 which is sometimes hard to tell if she is a #3 or #4. I believe she is a #4, but might be a #3 with blue eyeliner. She has the mold-mark across her hip that many #3s have. She is in wonderful condition with very thick hair and great bangs. Her paint is very vivid and her body is great; she does have a faint stain on her back which I almost did not notice and does not show up in the pictures it is so faint. She will come with her original pedestal stand which has some melt marks on it, but no chips. She will also come with her original zebra-striped swimsuit and open-toed shoes. Her top-knot has been retied and her lips touched-up. The long-haired American Girl Barbie has an amazing body. Her feet have no chews, which is very hard to find. Her hair is very thick but does not lay flat, which is why I put an outfit with a hat on her to help hold her hair down. She has butter-colored lips. She will come with the outfit she is wearing and the wire stand. Neither doll is missing any digits nor does either one have green ear or nose nips. They are both very nice dolls. From my research I have learned this is considered degrading or white powder caused by leeching plasticizer. There are no known ways to stop the plastics from degrading but can cosmetically treat the problem. Box has minor wear from storage including writing on the bottom of the box. Doll comes pedestal, bathing suit, shoes and booklet. Bathing suit is in good condition with no rips or tears. Her hair is in nice condition, however around her hair frame there is some discoloration, green threading. I have photographed this up close for your review. Doll appears to be in good condition. Limbs are in good working order. No major marks or stains. Stand is in good condition with no bends. Shoes are in nice condition. She has a red tie around her hair. I do not believe this is original.
