RARE VINTAGE JAPAN, NANCY ANN STORYBOOK DOLL – MISTRESS MARY W/SUNBURST BOX. Mary is almost 5 tall and wearing her original costume: a white dress with blue floral print, matching bonnet, white lace trimmed pantalets and painted black shoes. “Made in Japan” is marked on her jointed bisque body. She has painted brunette hair with a white ribbon in topknot. A silver foil label on the box reads Mistress Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? #119 Please review the pictures closely to see that the doll’s face has been repainted, there are some paint voids on her hair and shoes show damage.
