You are purchasing a Vintage Barbie Doll Clothes Roman Holiday Coat Original Rare 1959 Japan. This is a rare item. It goes to Roman Holiday only, which is one of the hardest Mattel barbie outfits to find, as it was only made for a short period. It is the striped Roman Holiday coat with gold buttons and the inner original chiffon. This is a original Mattel item it has the R tag. It is a very displayable. The color on this is nice not dingy, only very minor soil /age mostly on the collar area(please not the material used on this outfit is a muted color so it is not a bright white or red and that is how it is supposed to be). No major stains found has age but it is not major. All Bead buttons decor is there only minor wear. The outer shell of the coat is really in nice shape no holes or tears. The original chiffon has flaws. The original chiffon is extremely fragile it does have some holes and tears in the material that is why when this coat is found often it is missing the chiffon or with replaced chiffon. All shown in the close ups. It will not really hurt the display of this because once on barbie will not be noticed and when carded displayed it is not overly noticeable until you start spreading it out. It is a displayable piece. All flaws are shown in the photos are taken in natural light so you can see any detail clearly.
