Vintage barbie ponytail blond 1959 #1 with TM box and reproduction stand

1st 1959 VINTAGE BLOND PONYTAIL BARBIE. This is a vintage 1959 #1 Blond Pony Tail Barbie Doll. The Japan stamp on her foot is longways along her foot. The only defect I can disclose is that there is a mold defect on her leg see photo. The TM box has a replaced new “blond” label end and taped corners. I try to be hyper critical and want full disclosure of everything, however miniscule I can find. She will come with the zebra suit she is wearing, the Mattel reproduction stand, hoop earrings, a barbie booklet and black heels. This doll is so much nicer in person that the photos capture. She has the unplayed with feeling when you move her legs and arms, you will know immediately when you receive her, she is just fabulous! My home is smoke and odor free. Vintage Barbie Doll BROWNETTE BUBBLE CUT with Reverse Rooting Rare

Presenting the beautiful, very rare, vintage, Mattel, “BROWNETTE BUBBLE CUT” Barbie doll with the left to right reverse rooting on the crown. According to the book, “Face Of The American Dream” by C. Varaste, the reverse rooting is found only on the Brownette Bubble cut. She has the heavy, solid body and is wearing the original black & white stripe swim suit and a pair of “safety” pearl earrings. Japan in imprinted on the bottom of her right foot. 1 No cut hair, no missing hair plugs. One earring hole on each ear. No pokes around ears. 3 Darkening on the left ear/cheek area. 4 No oily face; no oily body. Rms and legs are firmly attached. Marks, no discoloration, no gauges & no. Pin marks on the body. 7 Body is original. Legs are same length and straight with no bowing. 8 The swimsuit is in excellent condition with no holes, no tears, no seam pulls, no stains and no soil. A couple top stitches are loose on the front, right leg opening. Some background: We acquired this Barbie doll several years ago. She came from the original owner whose early Barbie collection had some of the very early outfits including Gay Parisienne. The collection also had the “cola” glasses, not the orange juice glasses, as part of the “Friday Night Date” outfit. Much of her facial coloring and nail polish was worn off. Pink Bubbles Spa has provided the enhancements. She was not wearing earrings when we acquired her – so cannot account for the darkening on the left side.
