For your consideration is an interesting early-vintage (1960s). Barbie clothing and accessories lot. Most of the clothing that should be tagged contain b&w “Barbie” tags. A few highlights are: four wigs (including two brunette wigs) that accompanied the Fashion Queen Barbie doll; an excellent Busy Gal portfolio; a superb Open Road 3/4 trench and road map; and a mixed-OT-shoe lot (“JAPAN”) including one complete pair in white and one rare navy shoe; and a crisp Suburban Shopper dress. Please note: The Barbie in Switzerland dress is showing its age w/rear snaps merged (an easy mend); otherwise in good condition. The Poodle Parade coat has a tiny hole in the rear right sleeve. This is a fun lot, and it contains some completers for which you may be searching. I stored all of these vintage items securely in pouches within my 1961 Ponytail double trunk. The only contemporary items in this lot are the pair of silver-glitter pink closed-toe pumps and the 50-count pouch of tiny black rubber bands (perfect for re-securing your vintage Ponytail Barbie dolls’ top knots as well as the ends of their ponytails).
