This doll is my version of a Sun Sun Japanese Quick Curl Francie. This is truly a one of a kind doll. No one else will have one like her. If you own everything else Mattel ever made, this is surely something you don’t already have. For your consideration is a completely revamped vintage Francie Doll. She has the Malibu version 1965 Mattel, Inc U. Pend Made in Korea body. She has bendable legs. Her head is the Quick Curl Francie head. It’s been dyed to match the malibu Francie TNT body. Her hair has been replaced with dark brunette hair. Her makeup is all original. Cheek blush was added for that little touch of softness it brings. No neck splits, no nose nips. No swingy arms or legs. Although revamped, doll is STILL vintage and has wear consistent with age such as body scuffs, minor scratches and possible light stains. Here is cute swirl with messy hair in the original set. She is just amazing. Her hair is long, without cuts. There are no missing hair plugs. She has no green and no neck splits. American Girl Long Hair BARBIE 1966 vintage amazing hair

DOLL COMES NUDE- NOT IN THE OUTFIT SHOWN! Here is a Long hair American girl that is one of my very prettiest, with her sly raised eyebrow! Her hair is thick, soft and neat, without cuts or missing plugs. (yes, one side is longer than the other, and I think it makes her look all that more interesting) She has no green, and no neck splits. She has no earring holes. She has a couple indents on her temple and a flattened nose tip. (see last pic) She has had a MINUSCULE touch up to her lip peaks and the black of her eyelash ridges touched up. Her American Girl body has some flaws. Both knees work, but one leg is swingy at the hip. Her toe is cut back on one foot. AGAIN- DOLL COMES NUDE! This is not a reproduction or a re-root! # 2 Vintage Ponytail Barbie Brunette Two

This number two is probably the prettiest one I have owned in my 30 years of collecting. Her face paint is all original except for small touches to her black eyelash ridges. (Ask for the photo taken before any restoration work was done to her , and I’ll send it) And I added a little blush. It is very hard to find these dolls with their lips in this condition. There are no lip rubs and they are not faded at all. She does not look as harsh as most of these #1 or #2s. In fact she is almost smiling. Her head is not particularly shiny like some of these. Her skin tone still has some pleasing beige and it looks closer to the first photo than some of the others which washed out her color. Her hair is played with. At the lower band about a third of the hair has been trimmed a quarter or 3rd inch, so her bottom curl is not as thick as it should be. Her head matches her neck and chest perfectly. She has more pink wear her swimsuit would be. Her arms and her legs are also more pink. The box is not marked with a hair color. It has wear and some splitting to the corners and edges. Her limbs are tight and her neck knob is sturdy. There are no odors. This is not a reproduction or a re-root! Make sure you see my other Barbie auctions this week.
