Vintage Barbie #3 Blonde Ponytail Doll 1960 BLUE Eyeliner Original Face Paint and Fingernail Polish. The tag read: 1960 3rd Barbie Page 5 of Barbie Book. So, I believe this is a #3 Blonde Ponytail Barbie with Original Zebra Swimsuit. Condition of the doll is Good considering its age but does have a few marks and imperfections as will be described and seen in photos. The Good is that she is all Original, tight joints and holds positions, original paint on face, fingernails, and toenails, and has the original Zebra Swimsuit. She has the Rare Blue color eye shadow. Correct Markings on butt and Japan on bottom of foot. Printing on butt reads. The Bad is that some of the paint has come off in places. Toenails don’t have much polish on them anymore, doll and swimsuit could use a little cleaning or wash. There are a couple of light cuts on the back of one of the arms as seen in the photos. The cuts look worse and look deeper than they actually are in person but in reality, they are very light scrape type cuts. I didn’t even notice them until after I was getting the photos ready for the description. Also, the pictures of the legs in the photos look like she has a lot of holes and scars all over them, but these aren’t really visible to the naked eye, but the picture really brings them out, but I think they over exaggerate what is there as they actually look fairly smooth. You can feel the marks slightly but they really aren’t that bad in person. Guess she’s not ashamed of what she has underneath. The worst part about the doll is the hair… Some of it is missing like it has been ripped out. The sides and lower back part is there, but the top of the head and back of the head is basically bald with only a few strands remaining as seen in one of the photos. Still, this is a Rare Doll with the Swimsuit and correct markings so I’m not going to just give the doll away. All offers will be considered, but like I said, I’m not going to just give it away.
