This is a 1950’s Oiran Geisha doll made in Japan. The doll is handmade and has a provenance of ownership history available. It represents the Japanese culture and is a collectible item. Original box and glass. There is small defect in the lower corner, as shown in picture. The Doll holds a dagger, wears traditional geta, and has elaborate pins in her hair (real). Most of the Geisha dolls of this age will not be wearing the geta. It’s very easy to reassemble, as there are no fasteners. I’ll provide complete instructions, labeling and a video. The box and the glass are very delicate. It’s a stunning piece. If you’d like more pictures, please just ask.
