The item is a stunning Japanese doll dressed in a kimono, seated in a chair. Please note, it does not come with a display glass case. It is approximately 40 years old and shows some stains and slight discoloration due to age-related wear. However, there are no significant damages, and it remains in very good condition for its age. Here we have a very rare find, a beautiful blonde 1961 ponytail Barbie with near perfect face paint (aside for some minor rubs on the eyelashes) and she is clean. Her body is solid in good condition with the exception of surface scratches and a couple of small marks on the upper left shoulder area. Shas all fingers and original painted toes, JAPAN is on her right foot. Right Cheek: Barbie (TM). PATS PEND, MCMLVIII BY MATTEL INC. She was rescued from an estate and was obviously preloved. She is wearing a wig to cover up a bad hair cut and she needs a reroot. She has treated minor green ears under replacement safe repro earrings. She wears the htf emerald green1963 Fashion Pak silk dress and vintage black high heel pumps stamped JAPAN. This is a rare find for a collector to restore. She needs a new home with someone who will love her again. All serious offers considered. More photos on request.
Vintage Color Magic Barbie Doll
Absolutely gorgeous all original blonde color magic Barbie with original swimsuit, and shoes. Headband may be a reproduction. Swimsuit also has original ribbon around it. One shoe marked Japan. She has beautiful high color makeup, I don’t believe her hair has been cut. This is meant to be a choppy look. She has all her hair plugs. No green ear or piercings. She has all her fingernail polish. Sadly someone nipped some of her toes on each foot. Also left side of left foot has what appears to be some glue residue. Did not try to get it off. And you need a magnifying glass to see it but her nose is very slightly rubbed or nipped on the tip. It really does not show even from a side view. You can feel the rub with your fingertip. Look at pics close. Tried to capture it by magnifying a pic. Overall a gorgeous doll for display.

Fine Kimekomi doll with wood box. Received as a gift in Kyoto in 1967 from the collection of a family friend. Likely predates this time. Has been stored in a glass case for the past 53 years. Thank you for your understanding.
