This is a rare vintage Kokeshi doll crafted by Sakyo Niiyama , a traditional artisan of the Yajiro style , born in Showa 9 (1934). This doll comes from a precious collection carefully kept by a 90-year-old collector who began collecting these dolls in childhood. Height: 24.5 cm (Head: 8 cm / Body: 16.5 cm). Signature: Signed by the artist on the base. Markings: Collector’s label and handwritten date (9 – 1934) in pencil. Condition: Good vintage condition with minor age-related wear.
